About the Mulberry Silk Option

Mulberry silk traces its origins to ancient China, where the art of sericulture—raising silkworms and carefully reeling silk from their cocoons—was developed thousands of years ago. Over time, silk became one of the world’s most treasured natural textiles, valued for its softness, delicate lustre and elegant drape.

The 93% Mulberry Silk, 7% Elastane option is crafted from fine natural silk fibres. It offers a soft, breathable and exceptionally lightweight feel, with a fluid drape that moves naturally with the body.

The addition of elastane provides gentle stretch, improved comfort and a more adaptable fit.

Please note: Mulberry silk is naturally fine, lightweight and delicate rather than thick or structured. Lighter colours may appear slightly translucent under strong lighting, direct sunlight or backlighting. Nude, seamless undergarments are recommended.

Natural variations in texture and lustre are part of the character of genuine silk and should not be considered defects.

How to Clean & Preserve Your Garment:

•Identify the dress fabric. For delicate materials like silk, lace, or vintage gowns,professional cleaning is highly recommended.

•Inspect for stains, especially from perspiration, food, beverages, or makeup. Pay special attention to the hemline, which may accumulate dust or dirt.

Care & Storage Instructions:

•Partially handcrafted garmentsdress are typically packed inside out to protect delicate details during shipping.

•Hang your dress in a cool, dry, and shaded area to maintain its pristine condition.

•Use the internal hanger straps, if available, to support the dress's structure and  prevent stretching.
